Asbestos bailout is a sellout

The asbestos bailout bill before the U.S. Congress is a bad deal for veterans who were poisoned by asbestos onboard Navy ships but who are being asked to give up their rights to hold the asbestos manufacturers accountable.
It is a bad deal for victims of neighborhood asbestos exposure who are excluded from ever receiving compensation for medial bills, pain, suffering and death.
And it is a bad deal for the U.S. taxpayer, who will eventually bear the cost of this new and destined-to-fail bureaucracy.
Who is it a good deal for? Corporations like W.R. Grace, Honeywell and USG, who are given literally billions of dollars in liability relief when they knowingly manufactured a product they knew was killing veterans and civilians alike.
