Rembrandt writer speaks Wednesday

HANOVER, N.H. — Historian Simon Schama, professor of history and art history at Columbia University, and author of "Rembrandt's Eyes," will speak about the life of Rembrandt van Rijn at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Hopkins Center Moore Theater.
"Not Going Gentle: Rembrandt and the Roughness of Age" is a free lecture.
The program is being offered in conjunction with the Hood's exhibition "Rembrandt: Master of Light and Shadow; Etchings from the Collection of the Hood Museum of Art" on view through Sept. 17.
