N.H. man injured in I-91 crash

A New Hampshire man sustained neck injuries Monday morning in a car accident on Interstate-91 in Springfield, according to Vermont State Police.
Police said they were dispatched at 11:33 a.m. and found that a 2001 Ford Escort driven by Larkin Burrill, 88, apparently left the roadway on the left-hand side and traveled into a heavily wooded area.
The car sustained heavy damage to the front and sides.
Burrill was taken to Springfield Hospital and later transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the crash.
