RANDOLPH — A Massachusetts teenager faces an accusation of negligent operation after Vermont State Police claim they clocked him heading south on Interstate 89 at 100 mph on Sunday.
Police said they were conducting speed enforcement when they spotted Caleb J. Henry, 19, of Wellesley, just before 3 p.m.
Police said Henry was speeding through a construction zone at the time and that three-quarters of the roadway consisted of rough and grooved blacktop.
Henry was released on citation to answer the charge in Windsor District Court on Aug. 1.
