Police: Driver seen waving gun around

PUTNEY — A 19-year-old Putney man is being charged with disorderly conduct in what police described as an incident of road rage when he waved a gun out of the car he was driving on Thursday, Dec. 13.
Otis Taylor was reportedly driving a car on Westminster Road on Dec. 13, while holding a pistol out of the driver's window and threatening another motorist, according to a police press release.
Vermont State Police investigation discovered Taylor to be the operator of the car after receiving a report of a male holding a gun out the driver's window.
Taylor was later located at his residence and arrested for disorderly conduct. Taylor admitted to holding a pistol out of the window while being the operator of his vehicle, according to the press release.
Taylor is scheduled to appear at Windham District Court on Jan. 28.
