A 32-year-old Springfield man is dead following a shooting at a ball field off Rt. 103 in Chester Sunday evening, according to Vermont State Police.
Chester police and Vermont State Police were called to MacKenzie Park behind the American Legion around 7:20 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. There they found Vincent Tamburello 32, of Springfield, Vermont wounded from an apparent gunshot wound. According to police, multiple witnesses at the scene identified the shooter as Kyle Bolaski, 24 of Springfield. He was arrested and charged with Second Degree Homicide. He was held on $100,000 bail.
