Police charged a Windsor bus driver with drunken driving Thursday morning.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., state police from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the Highgate Springs Port of Entry at the United States-Canadian border to investigate a report of a Greyhound driver allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

Police charged Roger A. Marcoux, 63, with drunken driving and released him with a citation to appear in St. Albans District Court Feb 17. Police said Marcoux was carrying 15 passengers to White River Junction.

Windsor County Deputy State's Attorney David Cahill said the legal limit for the driver of a commercial vehicle is 0.04, half the legal limit for the operator of a private vehicle.
