Police seek Benson hit-and-run driver

BENSON — Vermont State Police are seeking a driver who left the scene of an accident in Benson Friday afternoon without giving his or her information, a violation of state law.
No one was hurt in the collision, which took place at the intersection of Frazier Hill Road and North Cross Road, police said.
Morton Pecor, 22, of Benson, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic, when it was hit in the rear. His car sustained severe damage to the rear and trunk, police said.
The second driver left the scene without giving Pecor his name or information, police said.
