The Proctor Ice Rink enjoyed great success this season under the leadership of Bonnie and R.J. Elrick. Our goal at the facility was to provide a happy, safe and family-friendly environment for winter recreation. We would not have achieved this goal were it not for the support of many individuals in our community. The Proctor Parks and Recreation Committee, would like to thank the following people for their generous donations: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hughes, hot chocolate; Darren Carter, electrical work; Mike Knowles, cabinetry work; Omya, new stove; Cayia family, hot chocolate; Mr. and Mrs. John Gray, two mirrors; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nassau, mirror; Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Elrick, new microwave; the ice-making team: John Anderson, Todd Blow, R.J. Elrick, Greg Elrick and Megan Elrick.

Your help improves the community for all residents, and your commitment to the Proctor Ice Rink is sincerely appreciated.

It is sad and rather perplexing that the current Proctor selectboard does not see how much good this committee has done. If you watch the meetings on pegtv it is obvious that the new select board members want to destory this committee. That is sad! The ice rink was amazing this season! I say kudos to the Proctor Parks and Recreation Committee, and also to Bonnie and R.J. Elrick. Looking forward to next season!
