BELGRADE, Maine — The calendar says Maine's open-water fishing season is under way, but it's a different story on the lakes, most of which remain socked in with ice.
Still, the heartiest of anglers were out Wednesday even though temperatures were barely above 40 degrees and the sun never came out.
