WHITEHALL, N.Y. — Deborah Kaeser and Joseph Diekel were married Oct. 11, 2008, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Terry Weik at St. Joseph Catholic Community in Eldersburg, Md.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Florence Kaeser of Eastchester.
The groom is the son of Anne Marie Diekel of Whitehall, and the late Harry Diekel.
The bride was escorted by her parents. Helen Nelson was matron of honor. Bridal attendants were Christina Bellafiore and Diana Kaeser, sister of the bride.
Daniel Knaul was best man. Ushers were David Coless and Paul Diekel, brother of the groom.
A reception was held at Wakefield Golf and Conference Center in Westminster, Md.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Hawaiian Islands.
The bride is a 1985 graduate of Albright College, and a 1992 graduate of Western Michigan University. She is an occupational therapist at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Md.
The groom is a 1985 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, and a 1992 graduate of The Johns Hopkins University. He is a software engineer for the Department of Defense at Fort George Meade, Md.
They live in Eldersburg.
