Driver identified in fatal crash

EAST MONTPELIER — Police on Saturday identified a Hardwick woman who died as a result of a head-on collision in East Montpelier on Friday.
Police say Marlene Clark, 75, was traveling on Route 14 Friday afternoon when her car crossed into the other lane and collided with an oncoming truck driven by John Hull, 47, of Barre.
The woman was taken to Central Vermont Hospital where she died from her injuries.
Hull was treated for minor injuries.
