Pitching in to green up

On behalf of Pittsford Community Corp. and the Pittsford Recreation Department, we wish to express our sincere thanks to Omya for its leadership and support during the Green Up Day weekend. On Friday, the Omya employees turned out in force and cleaned up a good portion of Florence. Then on Saturday Omya provided a Dumpster at the town offices, a large group of volunteers and with the support of Jon Keith, of Keith's Country Store, served hot dogs and snacks to all Green Up Day trash collectors. Pittsford had an excellent turnout for Green Up Day and was able to fill a good portion of the Dumpster.
Our hats are off to Omya for its help in cleaning up our town and for its support of our Green Up Day festivities.
