POULTNEY — Green Mountain College alumnus Pamela Chatterton-Purdy will give an informal talk at 3 p.m. Friday at the Feick Arts Center on her exhibit "Icons of the Civil Rights Movement."
The exhibit contains portraits of civil rights leaders and events from the 1950s and '60s in ornamental frames painted with gold leaf.
The portraits were previously displayed at the United Methodist Center in Washington, D.C., in January, during President Barack Obama's inauguration, before moving to the Frederick Douglass museum in February for Black History Month.
The exhibit is at the Feick through June 12.
