POULTNEY — A town firetruck on its way to a call clipped a car at the intersection of Furnace and Beaman streets last week, according to state police.
The engine, on its way to a motor vehicle-related call on May 28, was turning from Route 30 onto Furnace Street when the truck collided with the fender of a Dodge Intrepid driven by Jesse Rupe of Whitehall, N.Y.
No one was injured in the accident. The fire truck, driven by Jenna Lloyd, sustained minor scratches while Rupe's vehicle had minor damage to the front fender.
