Students learned to earn this week at Rutland High School as part of their year-end-studies or YES plan program. On Wednesday, Rutland Herald Editor Randal Smathers and Reporter Cristina Kumka talked to students about a career in communications and students shot their own news video. The freshmen classes also talked about what careers they wanted to pursue. Other Learn to Earn presenters were representatives of Rutland Regional Medical Center, Omya, NBF Architects, and CVPS. The program was organized by the Rutland Region Workforce Investment Board.
