Music festival benefit scheduled for Sunday

The Killington Music Festival will hold its annual Jazz and Garden Party fundraiser at the home of Vicky and Bob Young of Proctor at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets for the event are $100 per person and will benefit the only residential classical music program in the state, serving young musicians from around the world for six weeks of summer study.
Festival organizers are also branching out this year — bringing student concerts and lessons into Rutland City Public Schools.
The Green Brothers Band will perform at the fundraiser and hors d'oeuvres will be served by Chef Robert Barral of Brandon's Café Provence.
