BRIDGEWATER — A rash of home invasions in Bridgewater has police seeking clues as to who stole cash from inside two homes and if those burglaries are tied to others reported recently in the area.
Police said the homes of two neighbors on Bridgewater Center Road near the intersection of Route 4 and Route 100A were burglarized during the day Wednesday, according to a Vermont State Police news release.
The homes were entered and cash was taken. One of the burglaries was witnessed by a neighbor, according to police.
State police believe the two crimes could be connected to several other burglaries and larcenies with the same characteristics currently under investigation by police.
Anyone with information is asked to call trooper Eric Hudson at 234-9933.
