Fish and game club hosts shooting events

The Precision Valley Fish and Game Association of Perkinsville is hosting an outdoor day today.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the club's outdoor range on Route 106.
Men, women and children will be introduced to various shooting sports.
The event costs $5 per family.
There will be rifles, handguns and shotguns available. Participants can try shooting trap or Cowboy Action Shooting. Ammunition will be provided.
Experience club members will supervise the shooting.
A large collection of high-power firearms will be on display from Thomas Platt's personal collection.
Hot dogs and hamburgers will be sold.
The Precision Valley Fish and Game Association, an NRA-affiliated sporting organization, was formed more than 70 years ago.
The club's objective is to maintain and pass on Vermont's outdoor heritage to future generations.
