Police: Man charged in machete case

ROYALTON — A Bethel man is facing charges after he allegedly entered a home and threatened the residents with a machete.
Around 11 a.m. Sunday morning, Michael A. Howe, 20, allegedly entered a home on Route 14 and threatened a 54-year-old woman and a juvenile male.
Police said there was a dispute between Howe and the juvenile male involving theft and vandalism.
Police charged Howe with burglary of an occupied residence and said the investigation is ongoing.
