LUDLOW — Iggy and Anne Matulonis recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party held at the Proctorsville Fire Hall. The party was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple was married July 11, 1959, at the Wallingford Congregational Church.
Mr. Matulonis retired from General Electric in Rutland in 1990, and Mrs. Matulonis retired from teaching at Ludlow Elementary School in 1990.
Their children (and their spouses) are Mark (and Donna) Matulonis of Orange Park, Fla., Michele (and Kermit) Twombly of Ludlow and Mike Matulonis of Lakewood, Colo.
They also have four grandchildren.
