Slate Valley Museum to host fundraiser event

FAIR HAVEN — The Slate Valley Museum will hold its 10th annual Dinner and Silent Auction starting at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Fair Haven Inn.
The event is the Granville, N.Y., museum's primary fundraiser. Entertainment includes harp music from Wales, Ireland and Scotland. The silent auction features 80 items donated by area businesses and community members.
Tickets are $36.50. Seating is limited, so reservations and pre-payments are required by Aug. 19. For reservations call (518) 642-1417.
