Volunteers sought for WRJ railroad festival

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Volunteers are needed for the 17th annual Glory Days of the Railroad festival, which will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12 in historic downtown White River Junction.
Possible volunteer opportunities include being a ticket taker, a first-aid responder — CPR certification is required for this job — set-up and take-down crews and welcome booth attendant.
Anyone interested in volunteering should call the Hartford Recreation Department at 295-5036 or stop by the office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday though Friday.
