Rummage sale asking for donations

LUDLOW — Volunteers and donations are needed for Black River Good Neighbor Services' fall rummage sale, Oct. 2-4 at Fletcher Farms.
Organizers are looking for clothing — especially winter clothes — and furniture in good condition. Donors can drop off items from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at Fletcher Farms' barn. Donors can also make arrangements to have volunteers pick up furniture items.
Volunteers are needed to help transport items from BRGNS' Main Street location to Fletcher Farms, to set up and take down the rummage sale and to prepare baked goods to be sold during the event.
All proceeds will benefit BRGNS, which assists residents of Cavendish, Ludlow, Mount Holly and Plymouth with food, and rent and utility assistance. To volunteer, make a donation or for more information, call Audrey Bridge at 228-3663.
