ROCKINGHAM — Interstate 91 was closed late Thursday afternoon for a couple of hours when a pavement roller on a trailer detached from a pickup and rolled over in the highway.

Vermont State Police said William Gokey, 19, of Brownsville, was heading north hauling a trailer and the roller at the time of the 4:16 p.m. accident. The trailer detached at the hitch and rolled over. The highway reopened around 6 p.m.

Police said the vehicle and trailer are owned by Water Works of Perkinsville.
