Police charge woman with DUI after crash

CAVENDISH — Police charged a Cavendish woman with drunken driving after a single-vehicle crash sent her to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., police said, Stephanie A. Guica, 26, crashed a 2001 Daewoo near the intersection of Heald and South Reading roads.
Police said Guica was not wearing a seat belt and she was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., where she was listed in satisfactory condition Thursday afternoon, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Police said they cited Guica for drunken driving.
