WESTON — All are invited to a community pork supper to benefit the Londonderry-based Neighbors Food Pantry and Fuel Fund, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Weston Rod & Gun Club.
"This could be a tough winter for many people since requests are already coming in for fuel assistance," said supper organizer Bob Yuengling. "Based on the September food pantry usage, we can expect an increase demand for help all winter."
Nonperishable food items and donations will also be appreciated.
The menu will feature pork loin, roasted potatoes, butternut squash, applesauce, apple crisp and a beverage. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12, with younger children free.
The Rod & Gun Club is located on Route 100, about a mile north of Weston village. For more information, call 824-3704 or visit www.oldparishchurch.org.
