Take your kids to explore a rig at the Vermont Police Academy in Pittsford Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit the Rutland Regional Medical Center's bone marrow donor program.
Area businesses will park fire trucks, fuel trucks, a party bus, race car, garbage truck, police cruiser and construction vehicles at the academy and let children climb inside for a hands-on experience, according to a press release from the hospital.
A suggested donation is $3.
The academy is located at 317 Academy Road in Pittsford.
