Grafton to host Nordic skiing champ

Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center will host a nordic dryland clinic featuring U.S. Ski Team member and U.S. National champion and native Vermonter Morgan Smyth today.
The center is located at 783 Townshend Road in Grafton.
Smyth, who reached a landmark moment in her career when she recently competed in her first World Championship event in Liberec, Czech Republic, will lead a masters and juniors clinic beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
She will focus on drills, ski walking and strength training, followed by a poster signing.
