ASCUTNEY — The public is invited to learn how it can save money on heating bills during a free presentation at 6:30 tonight at Weathersfield School.

The "Button Up Vermont" workshop is designed to help people learn about the best ways to save energy in their homes, such as finding and sealing leaks and where to find technical and financial resources to get started.

A presenter will lead a slideshow to illustrate hands-on tips, bring samples of energy-saving materials and provide free educational handouts. "Button Up Vermont" is a program of the Central Vermont Community Action Council, in partnership with the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network and Efficiency Vermont. Funding is provided by the Agency of Human Services.
