LUDLOW — A Brownsville man with three prior drunken driving convictions is facing the possibility of prison time after police said he was driving Thursday with a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
Shortly before 7 p.m., police arrested Jacob B. Pierce, 44, for drunken driving, fourth offense. A breath test revealed Pierce had a blood alcohol content of .188, police said.
According to police, Pierce has three prior convictions between Vermont and Florida, and the newest charge is a felony that carries maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Police released Pierce with a citation to appear Nov. 17 in White River Junction District Court.
