WILLIAMSTOWN – A driver who was trying to change the radio station caused a head-on crash in Williamstown that sent a passenger to the hospital, according to the Vermont State Police.
David Carslaw, 24, of East Barre was driving on Lambert Road on Friday at about 6:30 p.m. when his car began to drift off the north side of the gravel road as he tried to change the radio station, police said in a news release.
Carslaw then tried to change direction, police said, but lost control of his car and hit a vehicle driven by Tammy Boule, 38, of Washington.
A passenger in Carslaw's car, Wayne Pecor, 20, of Montpelier was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center with back and neck pain, police said.
