Police arrest juveniles for Halloween 'pranks'

Vermont State Police and Brandon Police have arrested several area juveniles in connection with more than 30 instances of vandalism in northern Rutland and southern Addison counties over Halloween weekend.

The juveniles were charged with felony unlawful mischief. The incidents are still being investigated and more arrests could still be forthcoming, according to state police.

The incidents involved perpetrators throwing large rocks at homes and cars from a moving vehicle during the late night hours of Oct. 30 through Nov. 4. Damage ranged from smashed car windows and dented body panels to dented home siding, according to state police. In total, the damage from all reported incidents was estimated at $15,000.

You call that "pranks"? Boy, I didn't realize that "pranks" had gotten so dangerous and stupid. I miss the good old days of soaping windows,never waxing, cause we knew it actually didn't wash off,and was just an inconvenience not actual damage! And people thought that was bad!
