Green Mountain College will host a public forum on "The Future of Energy in Vermont" tonight.

The forum, which is hosted by the college's "Dedicated Excellent in Environmental Practices" Scholars, will feature as panelists David Dunn from Central Vermont Public Service, Jeffrey Wennberg of Vermont Community Wind, David McElwee from Entergy Vermont Yankee, Dan Brown of Foxfire Energy and Steven Letendre, a management and environment professor at GMC.

It will take place at 6 p.m. in the East Room. It is a free event and all are invited to attend to hear the discussion on such issues as how the state will supply energy to its residents in the years ahead and if alternative energy sources including wind and solar will be viable options.
