Angeline Marie Vairetta, 77, of Rutland, passed on November 17, 2009, at Rutland Regional Medical Center in the presence of her loving family.

Angeline changed the lives of those who had the honor of knowing her. She leaves a unique legacy of Christian love, dignity and faith.

She was predeceased by her parents, John A. and Concetta A. (Mastropiestro) Vairetta, and her sisters, Mary Thompson and Jennie Pratt.

She is survived by her two nieces and their families, Pamela Berryhill of Fair Haven and Judith Covey of South Bethlehem, N.Y., along with her friends and family at The Pines nursing facility in Rutland.

There will be reflection of Angeline's extraordinary life at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Bradley Berryhill, 5 Allen Ave., Fair Haven, Vt., on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, South Main Street, Rutland, Vt., with Rev. Justin Baker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of her family in Amsterdam, N.Y.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Durfee Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Fair Haven.
