Police cite N.H. man for magic mushrooms

HARTLAND – Police said a New Hampshire man was cited for possession of psilocybin mushrooms around midnight Nov. 20.

Jason Collins, 23, of Claremont, N.H., was stopped on Interstate 91 in Hartford by Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton barracks on Nov. 20 for a minor motor vehicle violation.

Police said they learned that Collins was in possession of psilocybin mushrooms. He was arrested and cited to appear in Windsor County District Court on Jan. 19.
