LUDLOW — A local farmers' market donated $1,000 to help hungry people in the area.
The Ludlow Farmers' Market gave the money to Black River Good Neighbor Services, which helps residents of Cavendish, Ludlow, Mount Holly and Plymouth with food, rent and utility bills.
The farmers' market completed its first year in October and will be open 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day next year on the lawn of Okemo Mountain School.
