Rec offers broomball

Think hockey with shoes (not skates), ball (not puck), and, yes, on ice. This is open to anyone 18 and older (or 16 and over with parent/guardian-signed release). Beginners are welcome. Matches will be held at Giorgettti ice rink Tuesday, Dec. 29, with possibility of league play in January and/or February.
The cost to Rutland city residents is $4 per person, out of city is $5 per person. Equipment is required. Any type helmet is fine, but thicker shells are better; any type of shoe is also fine. Stick/broom will be provided by the Rec Dept.
