The nominees for the Vermont Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame's scholarships have been selected. All of these high school football players will be honored during a ceremony at the Vermont Chapter's annual banquet at Castleton State College on April 25 and six of them will receive scholarships.

The nominees include Gary Grant of Vergennes High School, who played for Winooski High School.

The other nominees are BFA-St. Albans' Will Manning, Burlington's Luke Gallagher, Colchester's Sean Eustace, Oxbow's Braden Mello, South Burlington's Ryan Lunny, Windsor's Brian Holloway, Essex's Evan McCrea, Mount Anthony's Keegan Corbett, Poultney's John Olsen, Otter Valley's Joey Massores, U-32's Elias LaCount, BFA-Fairfax's Kyle Redding, Rice Memorial's Devon Hathaway, Mount St. Joseph Academy's Louis Altobell, North Country's Emile Hartman, Fair Haven's Evan Amery, Woodstock's Sam Stockwell, Springfield's Brandon Boyle, Rutland's David Boynton, Mount Mansfield's Ben Dolan, Burr and Burton Academy's James Buss IV, Middlebury's Jimmy Danyow, Spaulding's Timothy Durham and CVU's Matt Long.

A player from Middlebury College, Norwich University and, for the first time, from the Castleton State College program will also be honored.

Michael Kenney of Mount Mansfield Union High School will receive the Community Service Award.
