Vermont State Police said a Bellows Falls man would not tell them who beat him up.
Police said they responded to a call Sunday morning and found 18-year-old Colton Bratton sleeping in the back seat of his car behind Harlow Farms in Westminster.
Bratton had multiple abrasions, bruising and swelling on his head, neck and chest, according to police, and did not want to talk about what happened. He was taken to Springfield Hospital and from there to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Police said they believe Bratton was attacked in Bellows Falls either the previous night or earlier that morning and parked in Westminster to recover. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call either the State Police or the Bellows Falls Police.
