MANCHESTER – The third annual Live Green Energy Expo and Music Festival will be on Saturday at Riley Rink on Route 7A from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Live Green brings together a number of different exhibitors and vendors to provide a kind of “one-stop shopping” for people interested in learning more about alternative and renewable energy opportunities.

Many of the exhibitors will be selling either products produced in a “green” manner or products that reduce energy use or use renewable energy. The expo also offers demonstrations and workshops on subjects like “backyard homesteading” and energy independence.

Attendees can bring electronic items like laptop computers, video monitors, printers, digital cameras, video games and mp3 players for free drop-off so they can be recycled.

Food is served at the expo and a beer and wine tent will be set up. Live Green also presents live music including REV TOR and the band, Please Stay, whose members are students at Burr and Burton Academy and activities for kids and teenagers.

Admission to the event is $10 and kids who are 12 or younger are admitted at no charge. Proceeds from the event benefit Riley Rink and its programs.
