LUDLOW — Black River Good Neighbors Services is offering additional assistance to families and individuals affected by Tropical Storm Irene.
BRGNS announced on Wednesday they will provide funding for people in need of basic necessities. They are also offering a voucher program for clothing and household items in the BRGNS thrift shop.
“BRGNS has adopted new procedures to deal with the extraordinary needs created as a result of Irene’s devastation”, BRGNS President Peter LaBelle said. “Even those whose property was not directly impacted by the flood but who may have lost employment due to it should contact BRGNS to see if they qualify for assistance.”
BRGNS is a human services program serving the Mount Holly, Plymouth, Ludlow, Cavendish, and Proctorsville communities.
