Richard J. Young

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Richard J. “Dick” Young, 80, died Feb. 18, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Rutland, Vt., April 14, 1931, the son of Burke and George Jess Young.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Gaylen Wilsey Young;

He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Anne Young, and his first wife, Joan Rulison Young, the mother of his children.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox & Weeks Funeral Home, Hodgson Chapel, Savannah.
