Alberta H. Aldrich

MIDDLEBURY —Alberta Hill Aldrich, 92, died April 23, 2012, at The Lodge at Otter Creek in Middlebury.

She was born in Rochester, the daughter of Albert and Marjory Kezer Hill.

She graduated from Rochester High School in 1937 and from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degreein 1941.

Mrs. Aldrich taught physical education at West Winfield (N.Y.) High School from 1941 to 1946 and second grade at the Town of Webb School in Old Forge, N.Y., from 1955 to 1975.

Survivors include a brother, Fayette Hill of Rochester; a daughter, Regina Aldrich of Missoula, Mont., and a son, Terry Aldrich of Cornwall; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Kearnan Fairbanks Aldrich,whom she married July 11, 1942, in Crown Point, Ind., and a brother, Richard Hill.

The gravesideservice will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Woodlawn Cemetery in Rochester.
