Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of electronics and jewelry from a motor vehicle in Cavendish.

Police said someone broke into a car parking on Mountain View Avenue sometime early Friday and stole an Apple computer, digital camera and iPad.

It also appeared the person tried to take a suitcase from the vehicle and dragged it a short distance before realizing it was too heavy to carry away, according to police.
