Firefighters from Rutland City and Rutland Town were called around 12:35 p.m. for a reported fire on the roof of Petco at the Green Mountain Shopping Plaza on Route 7 in Rutland Town.

Scanner reports indicate that the fire had been "knocked down" around 12:50 p.m.
