Vermont band plays Castleton
July 10,2012
CASTLETON — The summer concert series in Castleton continues tonight with the return of the Starline Rhythm Boys. The concert, set for 7 p.m., will be held, rain or shine, at the Castleton State College campus.
Starline Rhythm Boys, a fan favorite at last year’s concert series, are a trio billed as a band that will have Castleton on their feet the entire night. The audience will hear the sounds of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Buddy Holly and more.
The band features Billy Bratcher on bass, Danny Coane on guitar and vocals and Al Lemery on guitar. The band’s album, “Honky Tonk Livin,’” was named album of the year by Freeform American Roots and Seven Days.
The concert is free and open to the public.
