MILTON — Vermont parks officials have closed a beach to swimming as a precaution after reports of people becoming sick with stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea.
Officials say they will be working with the Health Department to test for specific viruses in the water at Sand Bar State Park in Milton. Normal bacterial testing has continued with low results.
Beach officials say everyone who was sick has fully recovered.
The park is still open for picnicking.
