Steven P. Mahoney

MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS — Steven Paul Mahoney, 59, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Brandon Aug. 18, 1952, the son of Corrine (McKirryher) and George M. Mahoney Jr.

He attended Otter Valley Union High School in Brandon and then received his GED certificate while serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1982.

After military service, Mr. Mahoney lived in California and Maryland where he worked in security systems installation and was a director of a bartending school.

Survivors include his former wife, Kathy Mahoney, a daughter, Keeley Mahoney, and his mother, Corrine Hollman, all of Maryland; his father of Forest Dale; eight siblings, George Mahoney III of Middletown Springs,

Paul Mahoney, Jeanne Bergeron, both of Forest Dale, Mike Mahoney of Brandon, Dan Mulcahey of California, Andrea Adkins, Lecia Hollman, both of Maryland, and Elaine Hollman of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
