Three local amateur cooks will face off in the final round of the Friday Night Food Fight.

The cooking competition, modeled on the TV show “Chopped,” takes place at 7 p.m. in front of the Paramount Theatre during Friday Night Live.

Week one winner Christine Geisler and week two winner Gordon Dritschilo are joined by “wild card” Michelle Fairbrother, who scored the highest of the four runners up, competing for donations to their favorite charities.

Contestants will each be required to cook dishes using a “mystery box” of local ingredients. Plates are then tasted by a panel of judges who score contestants on taste, creativity and appearance as well as how many ingredients were used from the mystery box.
